Jason Statham has been keeping fiancée Rosie Huntington-Whiteley dangling for years over a wedding date, and he better make a decision soon. Sources exclusively tell Closer they’re talking seriously about baby No. 3. “They’re extremely happy together,” says an insider. “They’ve had their ups and downs, mainly over how flaky he was, but he’s gotten over his commitment issues and has proven himself to be an incredible partner and father. They’re more in love than ever.”
The Expendables star, 57, and the model, 37, have been together since 2010 and were engaged in 2016. Though they still have not tied the knot, they went on to welcome son Jack Oscar in June 2017 and daughter Isabella James in February 2022. One of the reasons they’re still not husband and wife is because “Rosie isn’t all that traditional,” explains the source.
“She’s not the type who spent her childhood dreaming of a wedding, so it wasn’t something she ever pushed for,” the insider continues. “After they got engaged and were planning the wedding, she ended up getting pregnant, so they put it off because she didn’t want to be pregnant at the wedding.” Things kept pushing their big day further back.

Challenges of Commitment
According to a Closer source, “They had the idea they wanted their son to be old enough to be a part of the wedding, so they put it off even longer. Now, he’s 7 years old and can certainly take part, but of course they had their little girl a couple of years ago, so that held things up again.”
At this point, they’re saying it’s time to just do it because they’re hoping to have a third child, and if they keep waiting, they’ll be in the old age home before they get to have the wedding! In a 2018 interview with Extra, Rosie shared more details on why they’ve stalled when it comes to walking down the aisle.
Future Plans and Family Privacy
“I think the time will come,” she said. “We’ve been so focused on our work for so long, and Jack came along. We definitely talk about it, we’re looking forward to that time, it’s also not a huge priority for us, we’re so happy. I think it will be fun to do it when the baby’s grown up a bit and he can be involved in the wedding.”
In a recent interview with Porter magazine, Rosie opened up about keeping her children’s lives as private as possible. “I’m mindful of what I expose because it’s my children’s choice if they want a public life or not, and so I’m going to do everything I can to protect them,” she said, adding that privacy is one reason the family relocated back to London from Los Angeles.
Social Media Highlights
However, Rosie does occasionally gush over her family on social media. Last month, she shared highlights from their trip to Antiparos, Greece. One Instagram photo carousel featured a series of selfies with Jason outside their Grecian villa, smiling for the camera and sharing a kiss.
“Gonna be you and me gonna be everything you ever dreamed,” she captioned the post.
