Whether you know him from his days in The Police or you’re more aware of his solo career, the fact of the matter is that Sting is a music icon. And he has passed down his legacy to his six kids — children that we want you to meet!
The “Every Breath You Take” singer, 69, born Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, was first married in 1976 to actress Frances Tomelt. The pair went on to have two children — Joseph, born in 1976, and Fuchsia, who was born six years later. Unfortunately, the marriage between the couple ended in 1984, but the Grammy winner would go on to have more little ones.
In 1992, Sting once again married an actress, this time by the name of Trudie Styler— they are still together. The lovebirds went on to have four kids — “Mickey”, Jake, Eliot, and Giacomo. All six of these children each have their own creative talents — thanks to their parents, of course.

“My generation all assumed we would have a better standard of living. The one that we spawned cannot assume that,” the legend once explained to the Daily Mail. “With my children, there is great wealth and success — a great shadow over them — so it’s no picnic at all being my child. I discuss that with them; it’s tough for them.” However, Sting did admit that his kids will not be inheriting all of his cash.
“I told them there won’t be much money left because we are spending it!” he revealed. “We have a lot of commitments. What comes in we spend, and there isn’t much left. I certainly don’t want to leave them trust funds that are albatrosses round their necks. They have to work. All my kids know that and they rarely ask me for anything, which I really respect and appreciate.”
“Obviously, if they were in trouble I would help them, but I’ve never really had to do that,” he added. “They have this work ethic that makes them want to succeed on their own merit. People make assumptions, that they were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, but they have not been given a lot.”
